In the Lap of Nature

In the Lap of Nature

Along with my family I shifted from kota in Rajasthan to Ernakulam in kerala recently. Far from Rajasthan, one of the hottest places in india with little vegetation, we found ourselves in a tropical climate. The cool breeze from the sea greeted us when we got off at Ernakulam railway station.

The journey from the station towards the small city is a very pleasant one. Rows of coconut and palm trees sprint past you. There is greenery all around. But the major sight which greets the eyes comes when you reach the suburbs.Situated in the midst of beautiful flowering plants and fruit-yielding trees is the most radiant village I have ever seen. The rural setting of this place has a charm of its own.

If you want to take a stroll outside, go towards the sea. You will probably meet fishermen singing merrily. You will find many small  children building sand castles on the beach. The coconut-pickers going up and down the trees make a sight worth watching. But wait! Don't miss the sunset scene over the horizon. It will be the most spectacular spectacle that you have seen and will cherish for a long time
