Prevention of cruelty to animals
We must ensure that animals should not be treated cruelly to gain sadistic pleasure or 'entertainment' for people. I scolded a group of boys who stoned a stray dog to death on the road last week. They had killed an innocent creature and also were not going to be punished for this crime!
All animals are living beings and we have no right to treat them cruelly, whether for sadistic pleasure, monetary benefits or any other reason. They are living with us peacefully in this world (not including wild animals) and deserve to be treated like other creatures. In many cases they give us economic benefits with products like milk manure etc.In fact,the SPCA should be more active to ensure that animals are given proper treatment all the time and everywhere. Then only can we say that they are our companions in this world.
